Version Summary

PourInput v1.2.0 adds Generic Mouse Mode for standard Windows mouse buttons and completes the English / Simplified Chinese application and GitHub documentation experience.

Generic Mouse Mode is Windows-only, disabled by default, and enabled manually in Settings. It works without a connected supported Logitech mouse and supports Middle Button, Side Button 1, and Side Button 2 with separate Click Action and Long Press Action mappings.

The application can switch the visible UI between English and Simplified Chinese immediately from Settings. English remains the default when no saved preference exists, and the selected language is saved and restored on the next launch.

Generic Mouse Mode

  • Generic Mouse Mode is Windows-only.
  • It supports Middle Button, Side Button 1, and Side Button 2.
  • All three supported buttons support Click Action and Long Press Action.
  • Existing Logitech-specific controls remain available without duplicate middle-button or side-button entries.
  • Multiple standard mice cannot currently have separate generic mappings because standard Windows mouse events are not distinguished by physical source device.
  • Left-button remapping, right-button remapping, scroll up/down remapping, and arbitrary extra mouse buttons are not supported by Generic Mouse Mode.

Language Support

  • Supported application languages are English and 简体中文.
  • English remains the default when no saved preference exists.
  • The selected language is saved and restored on the next launch.
  • Language switching changes visible UI labels without changing internal action IDs, button keys, mappings, or profile data.
  • Existing user mappings remain compatible.

Reliability Fixes

  • Corrected Generic Mouse Mode button visibility without a Logitech connection.
  • Restored correct runtime Generic Mouse Mode OFF behavior: disabling the mode removes generic mouse callbacks and blocking, returning buttons to native middle-click and Back / Forward behavior.
  • Prevented stale XBUTTON interception after Generic Mouse Mode is disabled.
  • Corrected Generic Mouse Mode CI regression coverage across platforms.

Release Platform

Windows remains the only official release target for v1.2.0.

The public GitHub Release contains only:

  • PourInput-v1.2.0-Windows.zip
  • pourinput-v1.2.0-update.json

macOS and Linux CI/build validation may remain, but public macOS and Linux release packages are not part of the official v1.2.0 release.

Known Limitations

  • Windows remains the only official release target.
  • Generic Mouse Mode is Windows-only.
  • Generic Mouse Mode supports Middle Button, Side Button 1, and Side Button 2 only.
  • Generic Mouse Mode cannot currently distinguish multiple standard mice by physical source device.
  • Device support still depends on firmware, operating system exposure, and HID++ features.
  • Some devices may be detected but expose only partial controls.
  • Double Click is planned but not implemented yet.
  • Long Press timeout defaults to 300 ms and is not editable in the UI yet.
  • Macro support and sequential actions are not implemented yet.

PourInput v1.2.0 新增了面向 Windows 标准鼠标按键的通用鼠标模式（Generic Mouse Mode），并完成了 English / 简体中文应用界面切换和 GitHub 文档的中文支持。

通用鼠标模式仅支持 Windows，默认关闭，需要在设置中手动启用。该模式不需要连接受支持的 Logitech 鼠标，可以为中键、侧键 1 和侧键 2 分别设置单击操作和长按操作。

应用现在可以在设置中即时切换 English 和 简体中文。没有保存偏好时默认使用 English，用户选择的语言会保存，并在下次启动时恢复。

通用鼠标模式

  • 通用鼠标模式仅支持 Windows。
  • 支持中键、侧键 1、侧键 2。
  • 三个受支持按键都可以分别配置单击操作和长按操作。
  • 现有 Logitech 专用控件仍然可用，不会产生重复的中键或侧键条目。
  • 多只标准鼠标目前还不能分别设置不同的通用映射，因为标准 Windows 鼠标事件不会区分事件来自哪一只物理鼠标。
  • 通用鼠标模式不支持左键重映射、右键重映射、滚轮上/下滚动重映射或任意额外鼠标按键。

软件语言支持

  • 支持的应用语言为 English 和 简体中文。
  • 没有保存偏好时默认使用 English。
  • 选择的语言会保存，并在下次启动时恢复。
  • 语言切换只改变可见界面文本，不会改变内部动作 ID、按键键名、映射或配置文件数据。
  • 现有用户映射保持兼容。

稳定性修复

  • 修正未连接 Logitech 鼠标时通用鼠标模式按键显示不正确的问题。
  • 修正运行时关闭通用鼠标模式后的行为：关闭后会移除通用鼠标回调和拦截，让中键点击和浏览器后退 / 前进恢复原生行为。
  • 防止关闭通用鼠标模式后仍残留 XBUTTON 拦截。
  • 修正跨平台 CI 回归测试覆盖。

发布平台

v1.2.0 的官方发布平台仅限 Windows。

公开 GitHub Release 只包含：

  • PourInput-v1.2.0-Windows.zip
  • pourinput-v1.2.0-update.json

macOS 和 Linux 的 CI / 构建验证可以继续保留，但公开发布资产中不包含 macOS 或 Linux 安装包。

已知限制

  • Windows 仍然是唯一官方发布平台。
  • 通用鼠标模式仅支持 Windows。
  • 通用鼠标模式目前只支持中键、侧键 1 和侧键 2。
  • 通用鼠标模式目前无法区分多只标准鼠标的物理来源，因此不能为多只标准鼠标分别设置不同映射。
  • 设备支持仍取决于固件、操作系统暴露的信息和 HID++ 能力。
  • 部分设备可能可以被检测到，但只暴露部分控制能力。
  • 双击操作已规划，但尚未实现。
  • 长按判定时间默认为 300 ms，暂时不能在界面中配置。
  • 宏和连续动作尚未实现。
