GitHub Copilot usage now also works for GitHub Enterprise Cloud accounts. Thanks to @OzmaXochi.

New Features

  • Copilot: GitHub Enterprise Cloud (*.ghe.com) accounts. The plugin uses the host in GH_HOST, otherwise github.com, then any *.ghe.com login the GitHub CLI has stored; log in with gh auth login --hostname <host>. A token only ever goes to its own host (#14 by @OzmaXochi)

v0.7.6

@github-actions github-actions released this 20 Oct 19:55

Notifications follow your Left/Used setting, and the taskbar strip can sit on the other side of the taskbar without covering anything. Thanks to @ElliotDrel for both.

New Features

  • Taskbar strip: choose Right (beside the tray) or the other side of the taskbar, plus an offset. The other side follows how Windows aligns your icons: Left when they are centered, Center when they are on the left (#4 by @ElliotDrel)

Bug Fixes

  • Notifications: with Usage mode set to Left, a toast said "Session at 82%" while the app showed 18% left. Toasts now say "18% left" or "82% used", like the card; the alert levels still count what you have used (#10 by @ElliotDrel)
  • Taskbar strip: Start, Widgets (the weather) and app buttons could end up under the strip, also in the default Right position once Widgets sit beside the tray. The strip now measures them and stays in the free space next to them

v0.7.5

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 17 Oct 17:20

Antigravity shows its Gemini limits again, and Copilot no longer keeps a copy of your GitHub login.

Bug Fixes

  • Antigravity: the tray showed "--" and the card had only the Claude meters. Google's daily server left the Gemini limits out of its answer; Antigravity now asks the main server first

Security

  • Copilot: the GitHub CLI login was copied into a plain-text file in the app's data folder, where it kept all of its GitHub permissions and still worked after "gh auth logout". It is now read from Windows Credential Manager on every refresh and never saved, and the old copy is deleted on the next refresh
  • Logs: a network error could write Kiro's AWS profile ID to the log, and log lines showed your Windows user name in file paths. Both are hidden now

v0.7.4

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 14 Oct 17:46

Usage notifications come once per window again.

Bug Fixes

  • Notifications: past 80% the same "at 80%" alert kept coming back, and a "has reset" alert came although nothing had reset. Claude reports its reset time a few milliseconds differently on every refresh, and each new time counted as a new window; reset times less than an hour apart now count as the same window, for every provider

v0.7.3

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 03 Oct 02:55

Logins inside WSL get their own cards, Antigravity and Copilot work from their CLI logins, and the Codex logo follows the theme.

New Features

  • WSL: when Claude, Codex, OpenCode Go, Amp, Grok, Kimi, Factory, Synthetic or Devin is signed in to a different account inside a running WSL distro, it gets its own card, such as "Claude · WSL". The same account as on Windows gets no extra card. A distro is never started for this; while it's stopped, its card keeps the last data with the time it was updated

Changes

  • The Codex logo is white on the dark theme and a dark taskbar and black on light ones, like the other black logos (it was green)
  • Perplexity is removed: it read the Perplexity Mac app's data, so on Windows it always said "Not logged in"

Bug Fixes

  • Antigravity works while Antigravity is closed: it uses the "agy" login (it asked you to start Antigravity or run "agy"), and paid plans no longer get "subscription required" errors
  • Copilot finds the GitHub CLI login in Windows Credential Manager (signed-in users were told to run "gh auth login")

v0.7.2

@github-actions github-actions released this 30 Sep 07:33

A second Claude or Codex account on its own card, the taskbar strip on other monitors, and a way to support the app.

New Features

  • Extra accounts: track a second Claude or Codex login (say, work and personal), each on its own card, in the tray, the taskbar strip and notifications. Settings → Extra accounts → name it, and a terminal opens to sign in once; the login stays in the account's own folder, so your usual login is never touched
  • The taskbar strip can show on other monitors' taskbars too: Settings → Taskbar strip → Show on: the main taskbar, all of them, or the monitors you pick (a picked monitor is remembered while it's unplugged)
  • A Buy Me a Coffee cup in the side bar opens a short note on how a coffee keeps the app free; the About window and the tray menu have the button too, with the address it opens

Changes

  • Claude: the Sonnet weekly limit is also read from Anthropic's newer per-model limits list (with versioned names like "Sonnet 5.5"), so the row stays if Anthropic moves it there as it did with Fable

Bug Fixes

  • The taskbar strip is drawn for the scale of the monitor its taskbar is on (it took the panel's), so it stays sharp when monitors use different scaling
  • The footer's refresh countdown shortens to just the time while an update is shown, so the two never overlap in longer languages

v0.7.1

Notification sounds, the usage levels that notify you, a pin to keep the panel on top and a remembered position, plus fixes for the tray icon, the taskbar strip and light taskbars.

New Features

  • Notification sounds: Windows' default, eight built-in sounds or your own file (MP3, WAV, OGG or M4A, cut at 5 seconds), with a play button to preview. Notifications were silent before, and the sound waits while Do Not Disturb is on
  • Choose the usage levels that notify you: 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 95 and 100%
  • A pin in the title bar keeps the panel above other windows
  • Remember position: drag the panel by its title bar and it opens in the same place next time

Changes

  • Checks for app updates every 6 hours instead of every 15 minutes
  • On a light taskbar, the strip's usage colors are darkened just enough to stay readable

Bug Fixes

  • The taskbar strip and tray icons turn black as soon as Windows switches to a light taskbar (they waited for the panel to open)
  • Update errors, the release-notes error and two screen reader labels were still in English
  • The installed app's tray icon is shown next to the clock; it always landed under ^
  • Clicking the taskbar strip opens the panel right above the strip, not above the hidden icons
  • Starting the app while it runs (Start menu, installer) opens its panel instead of a second copy

v0.7.0

A Windows 11 redesign with new ways to watch your limits from the taskbar, 11 languages, and a security hardening pass.

New Features

  • Windows 11 look: Mica backdrop, rounded corners, your accent color and a new app logo
  • 11 languages: English, Deutsch, Español (España and Latinoamérica), Français, Italiano, 日本語, 한국어, Português (Brasil), Türkçe and 简体中文. Provider errors are translated too
  • Tray: one icon per provider, as a number or as the provider's logo inside a usage ring (colored or plain); a "Most used" tray provider; one Metric setting for every tray style
  • Taskbar strip (experimental): provider logos with session and weekly usage inside the taskbar, with its own provider list and order (up to 6), fonts, sizes, text color and color scales that warm up as you use more
  • Notifications at 80% and 95%, when you're on pace to run out before a reset, and when a limit resets
  • Pace on every limit: ahead or behind, and when it runs out at this rate
  • Service status badge on a provider's card when its status page reports an incident
  • One-click fixes under errors: run the login command in a terminal, or open the provider's API key page and Windows' Environment Variables. A key added while the app runs is picked up on the next refresh
  • Keep a provider in the panel but out of the tray (eye toggle); enabled providers are listed first

Changes

  • Themes are now Dark (pure black, the default) and Light. The old Windows, Dark and OLED choices move to Dark
  • The panel opens without a taskbar button

Bug Fixes

  • Provider fixes ported from upstream OpenUsage 0.7.5–0.7.13
  • Cursor, Kiro and Devin work on Windows (process discovery, SQLite, %APPDATA% paths)
  • The panel stays anchored just above the taskbar, with no empty gap under short views
  • The tray's "Weekly" metric no longer shows the session value
  • A provider is never refreshed twice at once and always reports a result; Claude reports rate limits instead of showing stale data

Security

  • Release builds only run the bundled provider plugins; a plugins folder next to the app is no longer loaded
  • Strict Content Security Policy for the app window
  • Provider responses are capped at 8 MB; TLS checks can only be skipped for local language servers
  • Plugin ids and the files a plugin manifest names are validated
  • The local HTTP API refuses browser requests (cross-site reads and DNS rebinding)
  • Removed the analytics ping inherited from upstream, which reported to the original project's account. The app sends no telemetry
  • Updated h2 and rustls (RUSTSEC-2026-0258, RUSTSEC-2026-0285) and undici (tests only)
  • Release pipeline: every GitHub Action pinned to a commit, Bun pinned, lockfile enforced

v0.6.29

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 14 Jul 07:48

First fork-native release: upstream retired the Tauri app at v0.7.0 (macOS-only Swift rewrite), so this release ports the applicable provider-correctness fixes from upstream Swift v0.7.0–v0.7.4 to the Windows fork.

Bug Fixes

  • claude: track model-scoped weekly limits from the limits[] array (e.g. the Fable weekly limit was invisible)
  • claude: prefer a profile-scoped stored login over an inference-only CLAUDE_CODE_OAUTH_TOKEN env token — considering every stored credential source
  • claude: reset the usage cache and rate-limit state when the login changes (no more stale data after account switch)
  • claude: rate-limited state shows a Status badge instead of a silent blank card
  • codex: prefer the response body's per-window used percent over stale x-codex-* headers after a window reset
  • devin: fix inverted weekly-from-daily quota (fully unused quota rendered as 100% consumed)
  • zai: malformed quota payloads fail loudly instead of rendering 0%; out-of-range percentages clamp to 0–100
  • grok: migrate billing to the weekly shared-pool credits endpoint; monthly-billing accounts keep an overview-visible Credits meter
  • copilot: handle GitHub's AI-credits billing — suppress unlimited/placeholder meters, label Credits, gate Extra Usage
  • cursor: On-demand spend prefers explicit used fields; zero-limit spend renders as text; Credits shown as remaining balance
  • antigravity: adopt the merged Gemini pool + weekly limits (RetrieveUserQuotaSummary); never fabricate 100%-used from missing data; bind the cached derived token to its minting credential
  • ccusage spend tiles: pass the local timezone (UTC day-bucket skew fixed), bump pinned ccusage to 20.0.14, no fabricated $0.00 for unreported days

Chores

  • host API: redaction coverage for all newly-read provider fields; credentialFingerprint added to sensitive keys

Refactor

Chores

  • chore: remove General Question from issue template chooser by @robinebers

OpenTokenUsage (Windows fork)

  • Synced upstream v0.6.28; preserved the native signed auto-updater and Windows hardening.
  • Excluded upstream's Tauri "retirement notice" banner. Upstream retired the cross-platform Tauri app in favor of a macOS-only Swift rewrite (v0.7.0+); this fork continues the Windows/Tauri edition, so the "app has moved" banner does not apply.
