I'm sorry to disappoint but it's just outside of my vision of the game. Have you tested with the recent audio system improvements? Are you on a wireless device? |

I know this feature has been requested and rejected in the past, but I strongly urge the development team to reconsider. Audio latency remains a persistent issue for many players, and adding specific audio customization options would drastically improve the gameplay experience.
Specifically, I would love to see an "Auto-SFX / Sync Hitsound" feature (similar to games like ADOFAI or Sonolus). This option plays the hitsound perfectly in sync with the rhythm, regardless of whether the player hits or not.
In rhythm games, this consistency actually helps players internalize the beat and improve their overall accuracy, rather than throwing them off due to hardware-induced audio lag.
Alternative Suggestion:
If an Auto-SFX feature is not feasible or goes against the core game design, please consider adding a separate toggle to turn off hitsounds independently.
Currently, the only way to mitigate the jarring effect of latent hitsounds is to turn off SFX entirely. However, this completely disables the menu SFX, which are fantastic and add a lot to the game's atmosphere. Allowing us to mute gameplay hitsounds while keeping menu SFX intact would solve a massive portion of this issue.
