MX Keys not active in logi options+ via bluetooth

MX Keys is not active in logi options+ when I use it via bluetooth:

It works well when it is connected via USB.

I'm experiencing the same issue with the release version of logitech options+. Logitech Options worked fine for me. When Karabiner Elements is disabled, everything works as expected.

AFAIK, when using low-level tools like these, only one program can "capture" a device at a time.

When using Logitech Options+, does Karabiner-Elements detects one more device? Check Log tab in addition to Devices tab to make sure.

@MuhammedZakir For me Karabiner only detects one device. (Disabled "Modifying Events" before testing, so Options+ can detect the MX Keys). However, for some reason Logitech Options worked fine with the same configuration. I'm only remapping / swapping the right CMD and otions keys.

Probably because it didn't "capture" the device and may have changed it some other way compared to LO+.

If so, you can do that in System Preferences [1]. If you want to remap other keys, and you only use simple modifications, you can use hidutil (macOS-native remapping ) [2].

Thanks for taking the time to suggest an alternative solution. I was already aware of hidutil, but opted to use hidutil for convenience. For now I've switched to hidutil.

FWIW, some logitech keyboards allow you to set layouts using hot keys. See this reddit thread.
