Telegram MCP for Codex and Gemini CLI on macOS: cloud-chat search, Telegram-native voice/video-note transcription, and optional text/document sending. Six tools by default, nine with sending enabled.

• Rename the installation guide to INSTALL.md for both Codex and Gemini CLI.
• Let either agent configure its own client directly; document a Gemini CLI command.

Install or upgrade

Download telegram-mcp-macos.zip and its .sha256, verify the checksum, extract it and open install-macos.command. A compatible Telegram login is preserved. Restart Codex/Gemini CLI after installation. Each user keeps their own Telegram account and credentials on their Mac.

Managed 0.6.1 installations with automatic updates enabled migrate standard tool registrations automatically. Pre-rename 0.6.0 and 0.7.0 installations stranded with old tool lists need the installer once. Removed/customized registrations are preserved. Intel preparation is implemented but has not been tested on physical Intel hardware. Gemini web/mobile are not supported.

Assets contain source code and package metadata, never Telegram credentials, sessions or chat history.

  the previous working version; gracefully replace idle older shared services.
• Test the transition through the actual, unmodified 0.6.1 updater on Apple Silicon.
• Document the one-time repair required for pre-rename 0.6.0 and stranded 0.7.0 installs.
• Refresh quick-start, architecture and verification documentation for voice support.
• Publish tested versioned GitHub Releases automatically, with a stable download

Одна локальная установка Telegram Search MCP для Codex и Gemini CLI на macOS.

Изменения

• Один общий сервис владеет TDLib-сессией; запросы разных задач поступают в очередь.
• Сохранены четыре операции чтения: поиск, сообщение, контекст и медиа.
• Preview до 2 MiB, full до 12 MiB; текстовые метаданные Gemini и оригинальные изображения Codex.
• Единый установщик с выбором клиента, независимые версии, диагностика и удаление подключений.
• Новый общий профиль с отдельным входом в собственный Telegram. Старые данные не копируются.

Установка

Скачайте ZIP и .sha256, проверьте сумму, распакуйте архив и откройте START_HERE_RU.md.
Запустите install-macos.command и выберите Codex, Gemini CLI или оба клиента.
Требуются macOS, Homebrew и интернет для зависимостей. Каждый пользователь вводит
свои API credentials и подтверждает вход в своём Telegram.

Для друзей без доступа к приватному репозиторию можно передать ZIP и .sha256 напрямую.
Архив не включает личные данные, Telegram-сессию, базу, окружение Python или ключи.
Обычный Gemini в браузере и на телефоне этот локальный пакет не запускает.

Проверка

159 локальных тестов прошли, включая конкуренцию реальных MCP stdio-процессов с
искусственным источником Telegram-данных. Проверены установка и обновление из
готового ZIP на macOS, четыре инструмента по stdio, нативное создание/закрытие
TDLib-клиента без аккаунта. Живой поиск требует пользовательской авторизации;
отображение результатов в установленном Gemini CLI отдельно не проверялось.
