This is the initial experimental release of a simple flask webapp that is inspired by the markdown-driven frameworks of myst, jekyll, and hugo (and more), but whose goal is to parse markdown files into a useful interface for running D&D sessions. Beyond some nice processing, the app's main concept is one in which a central panel contains information for the current "scene", while panels to the left and right contain quick-links to causally-connected scenes that are likely to occur next (or previously), to aid in navigation through a session. Additional information linked to each scene, such as location cards, npc cards, and document cards, slide out in sidebars from the left or right of the screen as needed. There's also a simple combat encounter tool that allows HP to be tracked for a set of combatants with relative ease.
