Episode Creation

Editing

All episodes are edited in Audacity.

After importing the WAV files into Audacity, choose from the following effects in this order:

1. Loudness normalization (-20db)
2. Compress
   1. Between 3.0 and 5.1:1
3. Filter Curve EQ
   1. Apply Male or Female EQ settings
4. Normalize (3.2)
5. Optionally use Limiter to limit Plosives - limit to -3.0
6. Export as a mono WAV file.

Encoding

1. Import WAV file into Forecast
2. Drag and drop album artwork
3. Add timestamps and chapter titles
   1. Optionally drag and drop an image to a chapter
4. Encode as MP3
