AI Token Meter 0.2.16 + Task Bar 0.1.17

Highlights

  • Claude Desktop Home in Task Bar — Recent ordinary Claude Home conversations can now appear alongside Codex and Claude Code tasks. Task Bar reads the conversation list from Claude Desktop's local cache and opens the exact conversation when selected.

Fixes and improvements

  • Accurate subagent token history — AI Token Meter no longer counts subagent token history twice.
  • Cleaner Task Bar results — Archived subtasks and internal approval subtasks are filtered from the task list.
  • Only useful hover fields — Task Bar now omits unavailable project, branch, worktree, turn, and row metadata instead of displaying unknown placeholders.
  • Safer cache handling — Missing, malformed, stale, or unsupported Claude Home cache values are skipped without affecting Codex or Claude Code sources.

Privacy

Claude Home support is local-only. Task Bar does not read cookies, credentials, or message bodies, does not call a private claude.ai API, and does not upload conversation data. Home conversations are treated as recent/unread items only because the persisted list does not expose generation status.
