Autobricks WORM Disk 1.1.30 provides Linux disk-backed appendable WORM storage with required LUKS2 encryption for new installations.

  • Initialize dedicated partitions, including existing LUKS partitions, after explicit erasure confirmation.
  • Preserve disk contents during package removal and purge; purge separately confirms deletion of disk-access settings.
  • Read stored checksum and retention metadata through the WORM mount.
  • Wait for device discovery before closing LUKS mappings and clean generated Python caches during removal.

Packages are provided for Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04 on amd64 and arm64. Select the package matching your system and install with APT to resolve dependencies. Verify downloads against SHA256SUMS-1.1.30.txt.

All four packages were built in Docker using their target Ubuntu distribution. amd64 package executables were checked in the build containers; arm64 packages were cross-compiled and checked for ELF architecture, linkage, and package contents. ARM64 runtime and installation testing was not performed.

Initialization erases the selected partition. TPM 2.0 is not available in this version. Read the installation guide and security boundaries before use. This repository publishes documentation and binary packages; application source is not included.
