AirCodum 0.3.0 — Named workspaces and desktop gestures

AirCodum 0.3.0 adds named workspace connections and desktop gesture support for mobile 2.5.0.

• Run AirCodum in several VS Code windows. Each window chooses an available port and shows its actual connection details.
• Rename workspace connections and pair them using QR or manual entry. Local Wi-Fi, Tailscale, and TLS proxy connections remain supported.
• Use mobile scrolling and right-click alongside pinch zoom, pan, drag, and Fit screen.
• Separate workspace pairing credentials and reject stale QR responses after connection settings change.

VS Code API actions and uploads target the paired workspace. VNC, native typing, and desktop shortcuts act on the shared desktop and foreground application. Separate VS Code windows do not create independent desktops. Re-pair after changing a saved connection's port or workspace identity.

Mobile 2.5.0 is submitted for review on Android (build 35) and iOS (build 39). Store approval is pending. Both platforms passed native gesture, switching and visible desktop refresh checks. Existing mobile 2.4.x pairing remains supported.

AirCodum 0.2.6 — Local Wi-Fi pairing

Restores same-network pairing without Tailscale. Choose Local Wi-Fi / Ethernet in the extension’s connection settings, then scan its QR code or enter the displayed host, port 11040 and pairing key manually.

Local Wi-Fi requires AirCodum mobile 2.4.2. iOS 2.4.2 (36) is approved and available for distribution. Android 2.4.2 (33) is available on Google Play production at 100% rollout. Both store states were verified September 12, 2026. Tailscale QR/manual pairing and custom TLS remain supported. Local Wi-Fi traffic is unencrypted and intended for trusted networks. Pairing is mandatory, and public/wildcard listeners remain blocked.

Validation: TypeScript and 11 targeted extension tests pass; packaged VSIX controls and QR decoding pass in real VS Code. The updated iOS simulator app connected, disconnected and reconnected against the real private LAN listener. This does not establish physical iPhone permission/camera behavior.

Install the attached VSIX using Extensions → Install from VSIX. Version 0.2.6 is also live in the VS Code Marketplace; the downloaded package matches the tested VSIX. Source: PR #31 is merged into main, together with extension release PRs #27–#30. Companion mobile PRs #8–#10 are also merged into AirCodum-Mobile main.

AirCodum 0.2.1

AirCodum 0.2.1 is the GA release of the paired VS Code extension for the original AirCodum mobile app (com.codeair). The separate Agentum app uses a different server.

Original mobile 2.4.0/build 31 is approved and READY_FOR_SALE on iOS, verified September 10, 2026. Google accepted the Android review-access appeal containing the existing demo videos and desktop setup instructions (case 3-5701000041677). Production 2.4.0/build 28 was resubmitted September 10 and is in review. No replacement binary or hosted review environment was needed. The extension is promoted to GA following iOS availability, as requested by the owner. Android approval is still pending. Existing users should retain their compatible extension/app pair until the updated app is available. Old apps cannot authenticate to the new secured extension.

• On-demand VNC capture, newest-frame backpressure and asynchronous macOS capture/resize.
• Automatic capability negotiation and a mobile keyboard composer that sends an edited draft separately from Enter.
• Fixed native Enter/modifier handling and bundled WebSocket server startup.

The attached VSIX includes native desktop modules. Full Expo SDK 54 Android and iOS native E2E passed against this package in actual VS Code 1.121.0: wrong-token rejection, pairing, editor commands, real VNC display, local draft editing, exact desktop text/newline after Cmd+A + Send + Enter, background/foreground and extension restart/reconnection. Android used an APK derived from the production AAB; iOS used the EAS simulator binary with bundled JavaScript. Physical devices, production TLS/Tailscale, Windows/Linux and camera/file-picker/voice/AI workflows remain unverified.

The extension is published in the VS Code Marketplace as stable version 0.2.1. Select “Install” or update the extension, or install the attached package using VS Code’s “Extensions: Install from VSIX” command. GA 0.2.1 has identical runtime bytes to the E2E-tested 0.2.0 package. Only the package version and release-channel metadata changed; a fresh native mobile E2E run was not needed or claimed for this metadata-only promotion.
