First release: let your coding agent work on .env files without reading them.

Install (macOS on Apple Silicon):

brew install pro-vi/de/vne

The archive below holds the same binary. It is not notarized, so a copy downloaded through a browser may be blocked by Gatekeeper; Homebrew downloads it without that block.

In this release

  • CLI for agents: where, check, inspect, create, add, set, copy, rename, rm, example, run. Default output withholds stored values. See the README for what an agent may run at each level and what it hands to you.
  • vne . opens a macOS window: hold ⌥ to see a value, ⌘C to copy one (a copied secret is cleared after 30 seconds), ⏎ to fill empty values.

Other platforms build from source and are unverified.
