3.4.3 fixes a case where verifying a module still left its covered historical recheck debt open. Those records can now close together when the current source snapshot and committed verification evidence cover them. Changed sources, incomplete coverage and unrelated debt still require their own checks.
Quick Start also includes a general connection recipe for agents without a dedicated integration, using the shared project rules and the same task workflow.
Other fixes include:
- Windows lock ownership and release handling, plus clean watcher shutdown.
- Watchers that exclude runtime directories before traversing them.
- Repeated updates of existing installations that preserve operator configuration and evidence.
- Import that stops immediately when installation checks fail.
- UTF-8 handling and configuration isolation during live Mem0 setup and health checks.
- Bounded handling of oversized Inspector requests so clients receive HTTP 413.
- Extension signature verification against locally trusted publisher keys, and an explicit migration for the known obsolete root-level release gate.
The release was checked with the full maintainer gate, Windows installation fixtures and an eight-cell Linux/macOS matrix on Node 18, 20, 22 and 24. Live Mem0/FastEmbed verification was performed separately on Windows. The only gate skip was npm audit because the package has no lockfile.
Download the attached knowledge-v3.4.3.zip and extract it with .knowledge/ at your project root. For existing installations, follow the upgrade notes and use the system updater to preserve local configuration and evidence. GitHub's generated source archives are not install packages.
See the complete change list and README for setup and task workflow instructions. External memory remains optional and advisory; current code and tests remain the source of truth.
