Modern Docs agent skill v1.4.0
Publishes the local skill guidance verified in the five-agent MCP runs.
- Validate and reuse the same source bundle, then read canonical source before later edits.
- Use server-generated IDs, compact status reads, and separate asset upload and inventory tools.
- Add supported HTML, interaction, chart, and SVG examples.
- Clarify action fields, retries, checkpoints, and publication cleanup.
- Keep browser testing optional and require explicit user approval.
Provider manifests and skill metadata are aligned to v1.4.0. This release does not submit or approve provider marketplace listings.
Modern Docs agent skill v1.3.0
Adds OpenAI, Claude Code, Cursor, and portable Agent Plugin manifests. The repository is now the single source for the skill and provider packages, with documented submission paths for each provider.
Modern Docs agent skill v1.2.0
Removes automatic skill updates. Agents now explain the update and require explicit user approval before running the pinned skills CLI command. Project updates run from the directory containing skills-lock.json.
Modern Docs agent skill v1.1.3
Hardens silent updates with a pinned CLI, version verification, project lock discovery, timeouts, and Windows support. Installed copies now include Productiwity publisher metadata and the MIT license. CI validates release tags and runs an installed-package updater test on Linux and Windows.
Modern Docs skill 1.1.2
Moves the canonical skill repository to the Productiwity organization and updates every installation, validation, and security link.
Modern Docs skill 1.1.1
Pins automatic updates to skills@latest, selects the correct project or global scope, and suppresses routine updater output on POSIX and PowerShell shells.
Modern Docs skill 1.1.0
Initial standalone open-source release. Includes the Modern Docs MCP workflow, design guidance, collaboration contracts, semantic versioning, validation, and best-effort silent updates through the skills CLI.
