CoinPay Wallet Extension v0.11.0 — USDC on Base
A wallet holding USDC on Base could see the balance and had no way to move it. This release makes it sendable.
What changed
- USDC on Base is a payable chain. The asset row now offers Send, and "USDC on Base" appears in the chain picker. It signs with the Ethereum key — Base is an EVM L2 on coinType 60, so it is the same address on a different network.
- Your wallet re-registers once on first unlock. Base needs its own address row on the portal before a send is accepted. The extension previously cached its registration under a key that could not notice a new chain had been added, so this release makes that cache aware of the payable set. Nothing to do — it happens on its own.
Requires coinpayportal #367, already live.
Install
Download coinpay-wallet.zip, unzip it, then load the unzipped folder via Load unpacked at chrome://extensions with Developer mode on.
Installs from the tronbrowser.dev store update on their own. A copy sideloaded before v0.9.3 carries a different extension id and needs one manual removal before reinstalling.
