v0.7.0: icons, emoji, and a release you can resume
Two things a terminal has always been bad at, and the release process that ships them.
Icons that pick themselves
icon("mail") draws the best glyph the terminal can actually manage: a Nerd Font glyph where one is installed, a Unicode symbol where it is not, and ASCII where even that fails. No probing, no configuration. The table is generated into TypeScript, Go, Python and Rust from one source, so every port draws the same thing.
It is on by default.
Emoji that line up
emoji() returns emoji in four languages, and emoji width is now correct across all six ports. A two-column emoji used to push everything after it one cell to the right, which is the kind of bug that quietly ruins a whole dashboard row. There is inline art too, and hqtui fonts install to get the fonts on the box.
A release you can resume
This is the first release cut through the new publish workflow, from issue #93.
Two npm packages go out together, and until now a failure between them left the library published, the demo missing, and the GitHub release announcing a version nobody could install in full. Recovery meant abandoning the version number. Now both tarballs are packed before either is uploaded, each package is compared against what the registry already has (skip a verified match, upload what is absent, stop on a conflict or a registry that will not answer), and the release is announced only after npm can serve both. A failed publish is a re-run, not a new version number.
docs/RELEASING.md has the whole thing.
