0.5.5: qc works end to end, with HD emoji and icons
qc, the qrypt.chat terminal client, now works end to end (npm i -g @profullstack/qryptchat, qc 0.4.4):
- HD emoji and icons in the TUI. Messages, reactions and the header draw our own OpenEmoji and OpenIcon artwork as real images in Kitty and Ghostty, including over SSH and in tmux (
QC_HD=1). Built on hqtui 0.9.0. (#288) - Login hands qc the right keys. The approving browser no longer makes a throwaway keypair when it has none. The server refuses keys that are not your account's, and qc warns if its keys do not match. (#287)
- Sending works. Seven API routes accepted only browser cookies; they now take qc's Bearer token, and so do passkey and CoinPay browser sessions. (#286)
- The chat list loads. It joined a
profilestable that does not exist. (#285) - No more throttling or "session expired". Bearer auth on the server was refusing valid tokens, which sent qc into a tight token-refresh loop. qc now refreshes once, backs off on 429s, and no longer loads 40 chats at startup. Closing one connection no longer silences your other open tabs. (#284)
