chore: untrack Claude Code local-only files - #68
Merged
Conversation
.claude/settings.local.json contains machine-specific permission allowlists and is not intended to be shared. Committed worktree gitlinks under .claude/worktrees/ are transient session state. These files remain on disk; this only removes them from version control. Shared Claude config (settings.json, commands/, skills/, agents/, CLAUDE.md) is deliberately left tracked. .claude/settings.local.jsonholds machine-specific Claude Code permission allowlists and was committed by accident. This untracks it (the file stays on disk locally) and adds a targeted.gitignorerule.Shared Claude config —
settings.json,commands/,skills/,agents/,CLAUDE.md— is intentionally left tracked, so this is deliberately narrower than ignoring all of.claude/.Note: a
.gitignoreentry alone does not help once a file is already tracked, which is why thegit rm --cachedis required here.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
