The project is already internationalized if fact. If you go to https://git-scm.com/book/en/v2 you can see on the left panel the available translations of the book. If your language is missing and you want to add it, just fork this project, start translating (at least the first chapter) and open an issue on https://github.com/git/git-scm.com to have your language added. If your language already exists and you would like to join the effort, you can find the list of the repositories here and get in touch with their maintainers.
