A controller-first control center for Windows handheld gaming PCs. Power, fans, controls, games and system settings in one place, without reaching for a mouse.

What's included

Performance and power

  • TDP profiles with separate sustained and burst limits, and optional battery-only values
  • Power profiles, fan profiles with a draggable fan curve, and AMD Radeon driver settings
  • A performance overlay with FPS, frame times and power readings

Controls

  • Controller profiles: button remapping, stick curves and deadzones
  • RGB lighting profiles and hotkeys on the device's own buttons
  • Optional controller hiding while a menu is open, through HidHide

Games

  • A game library with cover art and per-game profiles that apply on launch and revert on close
  • A second set of per-game profiles for when an eGPU is connected
  • An app switcher for jumping between, suspending and closing games

Automation and system

  • Scenes, triggers, radial menus and Quick Actions tiles
  • Display, audio, brightness, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth controls, plus task manager and system tools
  • A phone remote you pair by QR code

Make it yours

  • Edit Mode for the Home and Quick Access pages, themes and wallpaper
  • A setup wizard with Simple and Advanced layouts, and a built-in updater

Supported devices

Device Support
Lenovo Legion Go Full
Lenovo Legion Go 2 Supported, less tested
Other AMD / Intel handhelds and PCs Generic: TDP, power profiles and everything that isn't device-specific

Installing

  1. Download HandheldHorizons-SystemSetup-0.1.0.exe below and run it.
  2. Install PawnIO when Setup asks if you want TDP control.
  3. The installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may warn you. Choose More info ▸ Run anyway.

Requires 64-bit Windows Windows 11, and administrator rights.

Legion Go owners: Handheld Horizons detects Legion Space and offers to turn it off, because running both causes controller conflicts.

Known limitations

  • This is the first public build. Expect rough edges, especially on devices other than the Legion Go.
  • The installer is not code-signed yet.

Reporting bugs

Open an issue with your device, Windows version, what happened, and the logs from C:\ProgramData\HandheldHorizons\logs and %LocalAppData%\HandheldHorizons\logs.

Warning

This is a pre-release (early access) build. Handheld Horizons changes low-level hardware settings such as power limits, fan speeds and controller firmware settings. It is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind, and you use it entirely at your own risk. Read the full disclaimer before installing.

Thank you for trying it out!
