What's Changed

PHP 8.2 Compatibility

  • Added missing php: >=8.2 constraint to composer.json
  • Updated all classes to use constructor property promotion with readonly
  • Replaced concrete Magento\Framework\Logger\Monolog with Psr\Log\LoggerInterface in the cron class — the custom logger virtual type in di.xml is unchanged, cron still logs to var/log/pronkoconsulting/selective_cache_debug.log

Dependencies

  • Removed redundant symfony/console from composer.json — it is always provided transitively by magento/framework

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed configuration path prefix from selectivecache/cron/... to pronko_selectivecache/cron/... for namespace consistency

Requirements

  • PHP 8.2+
  • Magento 2.4.4+

Upgrade Notes

Warning

If you previously saved cron settings under Stores → Configuration → Pronko Consulting → Selective Cache, those values are stored in the database under the old selectivecache/cron/... path and will not be read after upgrading. Re-save the configuration once after upgrading.

Run after upgrading:

bin/magento setup:upgrade
bin/magento cache:flush
