Local stdio MCP server that lets AI agents (Claude Desktop, Cursor, …) assess invoices before payment via ProofJSON.

Tools (exactly three)

  • assess_invoice_before_payment — returns allow / review / block with confidence, reasons, scope, checks_performed, checks_not_performed, human_confirmation_required.
  • verify_proofjson_proof — proof verification (endpoint not yet live → honest structured response, no crash).
  • list_proofjson_packs — lists the live Pack Tasks.

Scope (be precise)

supplied_data_only. It assesses the supplied invoice data, supplied context and configured policy. It does not independently verify supplier IBAN ownership, sanctions status, bank account ownership or external payment history unless external trust adapters are configured. allow is not a guarantee the invoice is safe.

Known limitations

  • Local stdio only — no public remote MCP yet (pending auth, rate limits, audit logs, tenant isolation, security review).
  • verify_proofjson_proof returns not_yet_available until the verify endpoint is live.
  • No SDK auth in v1 (the public free tier is metered by IP/domain).

Setup

Claude Desktop / Cursor config in the README. PROOFJSON_BASE defaults to https://proofjson.org.
