Upgrading

  • Nothing to change on upgrade. If you maintain a fork and build on Windows, plugins/artifact/vendor/ is now marked -text in .gitattributes, so the vendored scripts stay byte-exact and their SRI hashes still match (#4019).

Highlights

  • A .pptx shows as real slides in the Artifact panel. Ask your agent for a deck and it renders as a large current slide with a filmstrip underneath, instead of a text outline. Arrow keys, PageUp/PageDown, Home/End and clicks page through it. Theme colours, fonts, bullets, tables, images and shapes all come through. The renderer is vendored and SRI-pinned, so it works offline on desktop. Hostile files are capped at save time and again in a sandboxed frame. A deck that can't be rendered falls back to the text outline (#4019).
  • Chat text never jumps or flashes.
    • Text the agent streamed before a tool call stays in place above the work block instead of vanishing into it (#4015).
    • After a reload or reconnect mid-turn, a turn renders in the order it streamed (#4016).
    • An answer never paints as raw markdown, neither on its first frames (#4018) nor while a ** or list marker is still streaming in (#4020).

Fixes

  • Browser panel: the address bar now follows the tab. It shows the URL and title as the agent opens pages, clicks links, submits forms, follows redirects or goes back. The back and forward buttons reflect the tab's history. Whatever you type into the bar is left alone (#4021).
  • Work folders: a missing project folder no longer takes every filesystem tool with it. The other projects keep working, calls into the missing one say so, and the folder comes back on the next call once it exists again (#3643).
  • Review CI (maintainers): Review at head now reads the strictest panel round for a head (#4022), and a hung gh call times out instead of stalling the check (#4023).
