Upgrading

• Plugin and bundle authors: a type: path setting can now declare multiple: true to get a list of folders. Each folder gets its own row with Browse…, a remove button and Add folder. The value is still one string with the folders joined by newlines, so older cores show a single box and keep working (#4031).
• API:
  • POST /api/fleet accepts a bundle ref.
  • GET /api/archetypes/from-url returns a read-only preview of a bundle.
  • GET /api/archetypes?include_held=1 lists preview archetypes (#4030).

Highlights

• Create an agent from any bundle URL.
  • Settings ▸ New agent has a new From a bundle URL option. Paste a git URL, optionally with a tag, branch or SHA (GitHub /tree/<ref> links work too).
  • Before anything runs, you see what it installs: each plugin and its version, the built-ins it turns on, and the settings it will ask for.
  • A bundle from a non-official source asks you to confirm that you trust the repository.
  • Archetypes still being tested appear under Advanced ▸ Show preview archetypes, marked with a Preview badge. This is off by default (#4030).
• Live updates hold steady. The console's event stream used to drop after 15 seconds of quiet, then reconnect and reload. Among other things, that made a background delegation's progress card blink out and back while it ran. The stream now stays open through quiet stretches, and a reload merges into what's already on screen instead of replacing it (#4035).

Fixes

• Failed bundle installs say why. Creating an agent from a bundle that fails to install now shows the real reason, e.g. a dependency the desktop app can't install, instead of four lines of download logging cut off at 400 characters. A timed-out install is a clean error instead of a 500 (#4029).
• Chat layout:
  • A long "background job running" strip no longer pushes the chat wider than its panel. It's cut short with an ellipsis instead (#4033).
  • The background-agents spinner in the bottom bar stays round, with its count fully visible, while jobs run (#4034).
