v0.195.0 — PDFs render as real pages in the Artifact panel

Added

  • PDF file artifacts show their actual pages (#4046). A .pdf saved with save_file_artifact now previews as its pages: one continuous scroll fitted to the panel, a page indicator, and zoom (− / Fit / +, or the - 0 + keys). The extracted text stays underneath for copying and screen readers.
    • Rendering uses vendored pdf.js inside the artifact sandbox, with no workers and no network.
    • Every PDF is checked when it's saved. Password-protected, oversized (over 40 MB or 2,000 pages) or bomb-like files keep the text card and show the reason.
    • Agents now show a document that's already on disk with one save_file_artifact call, instead of re-typing it into show_artifact.

Fixed

  • save_file_artifact accepts the same project-relative paths as the file tools (#4044). A file found with find_files or read_file (a project plus a relative path) now saves as-is. Pass project to pick one, or leave it out when only one project has that file. Before this, a relative path resolved against the server's working directory and failed with "No file at".

Upgrade notes

  • PDFs saved before this version still show the text card. Save the file again to get the page view.
