v0.196.0 — Word documents render as pages; chats harvest into knowledge by default

Added

  • Word documents (.docx) render as real pages in the Artifact panel (#4054). A .docx saved with save_file_artifact now shows its pages: Word styles, headings, lists, tables, images, headers, footers and footnotes, fitted to the panel with − / Fit / + zoom. The extracted text stays underneath.
    • Rendering uses vendored docx-preview on JSZip in the artifact sandbox, with no network.
    • Embedded raw HTML ("altChunks") is never rendered.
    • Each file is checked when saved: every part is actually inflated and every image measured. Oversized or bomb-like files keep the text card and show the reason.
  • Better table previews (#4054). CSV detects ;, tab and | delimiters, drops Excel's byte-order mark and right-aligns numbers. An .xlsx now shows one table per sheet instead of comma-joined text.

Changed

  • Deleting or clearing a chat now harvests it into knowledge by default (#4053). The delete and clear dialogs open with Harvest ticked, so retiring a chat keeps a searchable summary unless you turn it off.
    • Incognito chats are never harvested.
    • Ticking Forget what this chat already saved unticks Harvest.
    • Bulk tab-closes and Shift+click quick-delete follow the same default.

Fixed

  • Browser form filling on real Greenhouse forms (#4032). Fixes from a live run of agent_browser's form tools:
    • browser_select opens a closed react-select itself (it used to report "no options were found"), and reads a phone-country picker back by the country name rather than "+1".
    • browser_select(field="Country") finds pickers labelled only by aria-label.
    • browser_upload confirms an attach even when the widget replaces its file input, and still reports a rejected file as an error.
    • browser_form_read no longer lists react-select's hidden required inputs as blank "text" fields.

Upgrade notes

  • Word documents saved before this version still show the text card. Save the file again to get the page view.
