Junicode version 2.224

Version 2.224 corrects a few issues with outlines, metrics, and kerning. All hints for the variable fonts have been reviewed and corrected where necessary. Users should note that “Sm” in style names has been changed to “Semi” because some apps did not understand the abbreviation “Sm”. All users upgrading to 2.224 should uninstall any old versions of Junicode before installing the new version: otherwise font files from earlier versions may remain on the system (since some file names have changed) and cause problems.

Users are also reminded that the static TrueType version of Junicode (in the TTF directory) is now unhinted. Those who require hints should use the OTF or VAR version.
