First public release of SPI & UART Tool — a macOS desktop application for working with SPI flash chips and UART devices.

Installation
- Download
SPI-UART-Tool_v0.1.0.zip - Unzip and move
SPI and UART Tool.appto/Applications - On first launch: right-click → Open (Gatekeeper bypass for unsigned app)
First Launch on macOS
This app is not signed or notarized by Apple. On first launch, macOS Gatekeeper will block it.
To open it:
- Right-click (or Control-click) the app → select Open
- Click Open again in the confirmation dialog
- If that doesn't work: go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway
You only need to do this once. macOS will remember your choice.
Known issues
- Hotplug (SPI/UART switch) may not trigger on first attempt
- Occasional replacement characters (U+FFFD) in UART output
- Minor visual glitches during window resize (500 ms debounce)
