Multi-Audio Track Support

Support for multiple audio tracks within a single video file.

  • Dynamic Track Switching: Change audio tracks during playback without losing your position.
  • Metadata: Displays detailed information for each track, including language, codec, sample rate, and channel count.
  • Automatic Default Selection: Intelligent selection of the default audio track based on file metadata.

Subtitle Support

Support for both text-based and bitmap-based subtitles.

  • Styled Text Parsing: Support for SRT and ASS formats.
  • Rich Text Styling: Renders bold, italic, underline, and custom colours directly from subtitle tags.
  • Bitmap Subtitle Rendering: Support for bitmap-based subtitles (e.g., PGS), including accurate positioning and scaling.
  • Forced Subtitle Handling: Subtitles marked as default or forced are automatically loaded and displayed.

UI and UX Enhancements

The user interface has been refined to accommodate the new features.

  • Track Selector: A new menu for selecting both subtitles and audio tracks accessible from a button on the top right next to the volume controls.
