Connect button instead of pasting a key. Settings → Publora → Connect opens Publora in the browser, you approve access, and the browser returns to Obsidian through its own obsidian:// link.

The flow is an authorisation code exchange with PKCE. The plugin registers itself with Publora on first use, so it holds no client secret and nothing needs configuring in advance. Tokens refresh on their own, and Disconnect removes them from the vault.

The API key field is still there under Advanced for anyone who prefers it. When both are present, the signed-in account wins.

Also in this release: the API keys link now points at the right page, and the settings screen explains what each option does.

First release.

  • Send note command and ribbon icon: takes the selection if there is one, the whole note if there isn't.
  • Lists the accounts connected in Publora and remembers the last set used.
  • Schedules for a chosen time, or saves a draft when the time is left empty.
  • Strips YAML frontmatter, which can be turned off in settings.
  • Character counter while editing.

Ten networks through Publora: LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Bluesky, Mastodon and Telegram. Requires a Publora account and an API key; the free plan allows 15 posts a month and three accounts.
