Native intermediate production

Make a material once, stock its output, and use that stock across finished products. The new Production tab supports versioned recipes, scaled batch planning, input-lot selection, and recording actual yield and usage.

  • Complete a batch to consume its source lots and stock the output atomically; insufficient or unavailable stock rejects the transaction.
  • Calculate the produced lot’s unit cost from actual inputs. Finished products consume that stocked lot without consuming the raw materials again.
  • Preserve each completed batch’s original recipe, yield, cost, and input lots when future recipes change.
  • Trace supplier lots through intermediates to finished products and customer orders, or trace finished batches back to their original sources. CSV exports include the intermediate links.

Upgrading

This release adds material recipe, production batch, and input-lot tables. Standard Docker startup runs migrations automatically. Custom release deployments should run bin/migrate before starting the new version.

Validated with 464 passing tests, real storage integration CI, and a fresh local browser run covering production, cost, finished-product consumption, recipe history, tracing, and stock rejection.
