This distribution includes ptable.library 2.0, a new major release of the AmigaOS partition library. It is now available as a standalone component shared by compactflash.device 2.0 and fat95 4.0, with support for RDB, MBR, GPT and whole-disk FAT volumes.
Highlights
- A shared partition list replaces separate scanning in the device driver and filesystem handler. The library combines the existing cfd library/RDB support with fat95's MBR/GPT scanner.
- Applications can select the filesystem handler used for FAT partitions with synthesized geometry. RDB partitions retain their on-disk settings; leaving the selection unset preserves the defaults.
Tools
lsptres 1.0 lists partition names, geometry, mount Flags/CONTROL and the DosType actually used by mounted volumes, including static mounts that register it.
