v0.0.3 — NewMu object durability hotfix
Summary
- Release cut from NewMu after PR #1290 landed.
- Fixes the version object cache so cached bytes are namespaced by physical backend/project.
- Stops treating in-memory cache hits as proof that an object exists durably in storage.
- Adds regression tests for cross-project cache collisions and failed batch flushes.
Verification
- GitHub PR checks passed: Frontend Build, Gitleaks.
- Local backend verification passed: 64 version-engine tests.
Note
This release prevents new dangling object references from this cache path. Already-damaged historical objects still need a separate integrity scan/heal or backfill pass.
v0.0.2 — MUT engine, unified CLI, and UI polish
Highlights
MUT engine — hash-based commit identity
- Migrated
mut_commitsfrom integerversionto 16-hexcommit_id(SHA256-derived fromscope_path | scope_hash | created_at | who) - Removed
atomic_next_versionRPC bottleneck — pushes are now lock-free per scope - Added scope-level
head_commit_id(mut_scope_state.head_commit_id) so concurrent scopes advance independently - Three v0.1.4 server fixes preserved across the migration: empty-base merge guard, scope head in clone response, history fail-open
- Audit-log truncation migration to clear orphaned pre-migration entries
- Bumped backend pin to
mutai>=0.1.6
puppyone CLI 0.1.0
- New
connector gatewaysubcommand - Reworked access-point commands (cleaner verbs, JSON output,
--helpeverywhere) - Unified API surface — CLI now mirrors backend
/api/v11:1
Frontend UX
- Redesigned New Access panel with directional section labels:
Sync data from a source / with a folder / via terminal / share with AI / expose data - Renamed "Local Folder" → Machine Folder (covers laptops, VPS, Docker)
- Marked unimplemented connectors (GitHub, Google Search Console, Chat Agent, MCP, Sandbox, SSH) as Coming soon with consistent dimmed styling, sunk to the bottom of each section
- Fixed empty-folder display, sidebar rename, file-system rendering, frontend URL bugs
Infrastructure / DX
- CI guards for migrations: PR-time RPC signature lint + post-deploy smoke tests
- Fixed
handle_new_usertrigger drift (post-profiles.roleremoval) — was breaking new user signup with HTTP 500 - Fixed CAS RPC
project_idtype (UUID → TEXT, matching production schema) - Dashboard error logging + migration SQL parser fixes
Upgrade notes
- Backend:
mutai>=0.1.6is required (auto-pulled byuv sync) - Database: run pending migrations:
