Turn speed is now a setting rather than a compile-time constant.

Changed

Sensitivity, finger count and target apps are read from defaults and re-checked while running, so a change applies within a couple of seconds without restarting:

defaults write com.jthorney.tracksteer sensitivity -float 1.5

The default of 1.0 tracks the acceleration macOS has already applied to the scroll deltas, so it inherits Apple's own trackpad tuning rather than a curve invented here. Raise it if turning feels slow.

Install

  1. Download, unzip, move TrackSteer.app to Applications.
  2. macOS will warn the developer cannot be verified — the app is ad-hoc signed, not notarized. Right-click and choose Open.
  3. Grant Accessibility in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Then bind Move and Steer to the middle mouse button in WoW; the BindSwap addon does it in one click.
