AgentDeck Stream Deck v1.8.0

Coordinated 1.8.0 release. Store review and public availability are tracked
separately for each channel in the
release status.

  • Stream Deck and D200H show each observed session's reported model, reasoning
effort and permission mode separately, using the agent's own vocabulary.
Activity cards show available task, subagent and context information without
    borrowing another session's state.
  • OpenClaw MODEL and THINKING keys open a paged picker of values reported by the
    Gateway. Changes apply to the conversation whose settings were displayed;
clearing an override returns to the reported default. Refusals and unavailable
connections stay visible. Claude and Codex remain readout-only.
  • Timeline on Apple and Android keeps ordinary tool activity beneath its
originating request, alongside the final response. Tool details expand inside
the turn; approvals, subagent events and activity without a known prompt stay
separate. Busy concurrent sessions no longer split a request from its reply
after 40 intervening groups, and Android updates no longer overwrite another
known session or run within the same second (#461).
  • Android Timeline selects visible turns by their latest activity, so a new
response remains visible even when its request is older. Selection and expanded
details stay attached to the same turn after reordering.
  • Android tablet HUD text uses natural line height instead of inheriting the
larger body-text spacing, while preserving font size and accessibility scaling.
  • Node and macOS exclude confirmed Codex subagents from fallback telemetry
discovery and remove early phantom project rows without hiding normal sessions.
  • Installed npm build identity includes resolved shared and hooks dependencies,
including hoisted package layouts, so restart checks identify the actual code.
  • OpenClaw folds the tool calls of one turn into one updating summary, with
bounded command and result evidence. Failures take priority over successful
calls in the detail budget, and omitted details are explicitly marked.
  • Show observed Claude/Codex/OpenCode/Hermes CI watch requests separately from agent activity.
Background waits survive the end of an agent turn; foreground tool completion,
tool failure, re-invocation and session end clear the applicable wait explicitly.
Hook evidence alone has unknown CI status. The Node daemon can query explicitly identified GitHub
checks with bounded requests and recognize owned watcher-process exit.
Session lists and deck keys include complete check counts when available.
The original GitHub Octocat orbits the waiting agent in native 3D and Canvas
aquariums; small matrix displays use its generated compact glyph. LCD/e-ink
keep readable CI activity, with permission requests retaining priority.
APME records CI relations and separates foreground blocking time from active
turn time; background checks never subtract active time or alter end_source.
Hermes exports bounded CI intent and hashed invocation identities without raw
    commands or tool arguments. Concurrent sessions retain independent CI timeline rows;
Swift broadcasts accepted annotations immediately and retains model attribution
    on runs, turns and tasks.
  • Keep canceled 3D asset loads retryable instead of leaving a permanent error
after initial dashboard updates. Explicit development data-directory overrides
no longer import the user's existing daemon registry or credentials. Keep macOS
Timeline details upright over the 3D scene with an explicit Copy action, and
scale Android CI captions to device density above the Timeline. E-ink paper
dashboards show CI waits even for idle rows and refresh when CI evidence changes.
  • Preserve the original creature features across 2D, native 3D and device glyphs:
Claude has black eyes, OpenClaw has black eyes with its original bright teal highlights, Codex
has an opaque white > _, and OpenCode retains its central opening. Monochrome
screens preserve the source contours with contrasting ink and paper.
  • ESP32 TTGO pins its validated library versions and gains a real-target Linux
compile check, preventing fresh dependency resolution from overflowing static
    DRAM during release (#468).
  • Keep the aquarium snail on its authored rock-foraging path and preserve its
feeler animation, instead of moving it around an unrelated screen-wide circuit.
  • Keep daemon start/stop/restart service control within the configured data
directory, so an isolated QA daemon cannot unload the user’s global service.
Refuse foreign-owned targets before touching their supervisor.
  • Verify clean npm tarball installation, native bindings, installed hooks,
concurrent sessions, device reconnects and restart persistence with the new
packaged acceptance command. Setup tarballs no longer include compiled tests.
  • Recover rejected z.ai credentials through Integrations, including when the
Mac app follows the local Node daemon. Distinguish invalid credentials from
transport failure and verified usage from successful key storage (#459).
  • Keep Swift-to-Node daemon handover within a shared yield budget, reject a
Swift process as successful Node startup, and align Kiro turn-state policy
    across both daemons (#451).
  • Windows Codex hooks report the actual launcher PID through bounded native
ancestry lookup; unrelated or unreadable evidence does not invent identity
    (#452).
  • Clarify the Hermes-capable receiver requirement and expand live lifecycle,
delegated-child and Windows Ulanzi transport regression evidence (#453–#455).

Stream Deck+ plugin — session-per-button keypad, encoder dials, and
live touch-strip timeline for Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Kiro, and OpenClaw.

Distributed through the Elgato Marketplace; the .streamDeckPlugin
below is the same artifact submitted there, for manual installation.

Install

  1. Download bound.serendipity.agentdeck.streamDeckPlugin below
  2. Double-click it — the Stream Deck app installs the plugin
  3. Start a Claude Code / Codex / OpenCode session; sessions appear automatically

Requires the Stream Deck app 6.9+ and AgentDeck running on the same machine.
