  • Layout: aspect-ratio follows Yoga's rules with min/max constraints on both
axes. In a flex container the main size comes from the cross size (the
authored one, or the stretched line for an item with neither size) and is
bounded by the main-axis min/max; the cross size is then derived from that
bounded main size (over an authored cross size, like Yoga) and bounded by
its own min/max. An absolutely positioned item whose width or height comes
from both insets drives the other through the ratio. A width: 100%; max-height: 100%; aspect-ratio stage now narrows, keeping its ratio, when
its parent shrinks above the keyboard instead of keeping its width and
overflowing under the status bar. Rust tests replay Yoga's
    YGAspectRatioTest reference cases.
  • Android Modal: the navigation bar follows the app's light/dark appearance
like React Native's Modal instead of the Dialog theme's black bar with light
    icons. An edge-to-edge (navigationBarTranslucent or
statusBarTranslucent) modal gets RN's transparent, system-scrimmed bar
    (RN's translucent colours before Android 10) with icons for the app theme;
a fitted modal paints the app window background; the declared
navigationBarHidden hides it. Re-applied after each window configuration.
  • iOS StatusBar: barStyle (light-content/dark-content), hidden and
animated now drive the status bar like React Native. The active
StatusBar nodes (visible route, open or opening modals) stack in mount
order, the latest winning property by property; the host, brownfield and
    presented route controllers report preferredStatusBarStyle,
    prefersStatusBarHidden and preferredStatusBarUpdateAnimation, and each
change calls setNeedsStatusBarAppearanceUpdate() (inside an animation
when animated). With UIViewControllerBasedStatusBarAppearance NO the
application status bar is driven instead, as RN does. The host template
declares the key YES. Written without Xcode: PamStatusBarTests and the
Mac checklist in docs/ios-parity.md must pass on a Mac.
