Release list
Kruvo 0.3.6
Kruvo 0.3.6 restores the stable update feed for Windows and both Mac architectures.
- The native tray menu now follows the application's language at startup and when it changes, including Portuguese.
- Desktop account settings expose account details and the existing secure email/password management flow.
- Windows installers and real Apple Silicon / Intel Mac applications are packaged from the current 0.3.6 source. The updater verifies every platform archive against Kruvo's existing pinned signing key.
Platform signing: Windows installers do not have an Authenticode publisher certificate. Mac packages have a verified ad-hoc code seal and are not Apple Developer ID signed or notarized. macOS may require explicit confirmation in System Settings > Privacy & Security for a first downloaded installation. No system security settings need to be disabled. This continues the signing posture of earlier Kruvo public releases; updater signatures remain required.
This release does not deliver the iPhone client or close the remaining Octop feature roadmap.
Mac compatibility: the desktop and core service retain a macOS 12 deployment target. The bundled optional PDF image renderer requires macOS 13.0, and the Playwright browser-automation driver requires macOS 13.5. Use macOS 13.5 or newer for all bundled capabilities. Both architectures passed bundled-service checks on macOS 26.6.2 (Intel under Rosetta); this is not runtime qualification on macOS 12 or on a physical Intel Mac. PDF text extraction remains available when image rendering cannot load.
Kruvo 0.3.5 - Windows preview
Windows 0.3.5 is available as a manual preview. It includes the new account details page and browser-based email/password management, with authenticated account synchronization.
This is a prerelease. It does not change the stable automatic updater or the existing Mac downloads.
Installation
- Windows: download
Kruvo-windows-setup.exe, or useKruvo-windows.msi. - The installers have valid minisign updater signatures matching Kruvo's pinned public key. They do not have Authenticode publisher signatures, so Windows may show an unrecognized-publisher warning, as with earlier releases.
- SHA-256 hashes are included in
SHA256SUMS.txt; the.sigfiles accompany both installers.
Verification and limits
- Application source:
149f40dinpvaz/kruvo. - 114 existing branding and packaging tests passed; production frontend/Rust builds completed.
- Both final installer signatures were independently verified, including five rejected tampering controls per artifact.
- The frozen service started with a fresh isolated profile and reported version 0.3.5. Account and session routes rejected unauthenticated access and returned the expected signed-out state with authentication. Private preferences and database files had a protected current-user-only ACL.
- MSI extraction/content inspection passed: all 4,083 service files match the tested build, application version is 0.3.5, and legal resources match. The only desktop binary difference from the build is Tauri's expected three-byte MSI bundle marker.
- The complete packaged desktop UI smoke test remains pending. The owner's running Kruvo session was preserved. This preview is not a claim that all installation and cross-platform acceptance gates are complete.
Other platforms
- The existing Mac release remains 0.3.3; a new 0.3.5 Mac build requires a macOS build host and platform qualification.
- No iPhone build is included. The mobile client still needs its runtime/authentication implementation and Apple signing/provisioning.
- The remaining Octop roadmap features are not all completed by this release.
