Core Roles Program Chair

The Program Chair makes sure we have a good selection of talks. Main tasks include:

  • Recruit specialist track organisers
  • Run the call for papers
  • Recruit reviewers and run the blind review process
  • Select and schedule talks
  • Communicate with speakers pre-conference: answer questions, confirm attending, remind to register, etc
  • Communicate with speakers at conference: ensure checked-in, contact if not present for their talk
