The PyCon AU Brand

PyConAU's classic curlyboi will always be fondly remembered. This page captures our classic-boi for use when referencing historical PyCon's AU.

The current 2026 brand has not been 'published' and is held by the current organising committee for use/approval by the conference director.

CIELab, CMYK, and sRGB coordinates are sourced from Pantone Connect. (CMYK coordinates are from each colour's Colour Bridge equivalent, and thus may differ from the CIELab coordinates shown.) Display P3 coordinates are calculated from CIELab coordinates using the ColorJS convert tool.

Where sRGB coordinates are given with a ⚠️ symbol, the corresponding Pantone colour is outside the sRGB gamut. Prefer the Display P3 colours where possible.

Note that in previous style guides, the "Desert Sand" colour was given as Pantone Warm Red C and "Lorikeet Blue" as 2726 C, however the RGB and CMYK coordinates given for those colours did not match the spot colour. In this version, they have been replaced with Pantone colours that more closely represent the colours used in digital branding previously.
