Falco Editor with more reliable builds, a refreshed interface, and safer SSH authentication.

  • Grouped editor controls, clearer build progress and errors, and safe background builds.
  • Validated filenames and staged output writes, including portable disk syncing on Windows.
  • SSH host-key pinning. Changed server keys produce HOST_KEY_CHANGED; after verifying the change, retry with --accept-new-key.
  • Actionable JSON diagnostics for network, timeout, authentication, credential setup, and remote execution failures.
  • Optional Tailscale / WireGuard / VPN checkbox with troubleshooting reminders in the generated usage guide and connection errors.
  • Embedded encrypted OpenSSH private-key authentication. The user enters the passphrase privately during first successful login; later runs retrieve it from the OS keychain.

Each editor bundles launcher stubs for all three platforms and can generate launchers offline without a compiler. Rebuild existing launchers to get the new SSH behavior.

Release publication is gated on Python/Rust tests, formatting, lint, and native launcher smoke tests on all three operating systems.
