Why can't we keep an updated list of default trackers applied to all torrents???

Somewhat recently we got support for automatically adding torrents fetched from a URL: #21828

However the point of these torrent list mirrors is that they regularly change.

So is there no way to automatically keep track of a list of default torrents, without having to re-add the list to all existing torrents?

Transmission can do this through the Default Public Trackers option.
