Hi.
I’m asking developers or experienced users to compile client_test.exe for Windows from libtorrent 2, just once. I was able to do it for Linux, but a friend of mine uses Windows and would like a version for it. It’s difficult for me to compile for Windows.
Why this is needed: We’re testing the --dht_enforce_node_id setting (which is disabled by default in libtorrent) to counter DHT attacks. It seems the only way to enable --dht_enforce_node_id=true is with the client_test utility (from libtorrent 2).
But if you could build (for example, in Actions) qBittorrent for Windows with the --dht_enforce_node_id=true option built-in, that would be even better. Although, it's not necessary. It depends on what’s easier for you. The user would, of course, prefer the qBittorrent build.
