PingYi v0.3.0 / 屏译 v0.3.0

This release makes PingYi ready for international users while keeping the offline-first default unchanged.

Highlights

  • English and Simplified Chinese interface, with automatic system-language selection.
  • Google Cloud Vision OCR and Google Cloud Translation using your own API key.
  • Google credentials are stored in the operating system's secure credential store and are never written to settings.json.
  • Local PaddleOCR, offline translation, llama.cpp, and Ollama workflows remain available.
  • Standard and Complete packages for Windows x64 and Ubuntu X11 x64.

Privacy

The default local mode does not upload screenshots or recognized text. Google Cloud Vision receives the selected image only when chosen as the OCR provider. Google Cloud Translation receives recognized text only when chosen as the translation provider.

本次更新让屏译可以直接服务海外用户，同时保持默认本地优先策略不变。
