Rootloom 4.4.0

Rootloom 4.4 simplifies everyday change, review, and guidance workflows and adds optional reuse of large-artifact context.

Highlights

• Simplify global guidance and the four Core Skills around task scope, proportional verification, and observable completion. Explicit natural-language requests can refine project guidance without naming a Skill.
• Add optional local artifact receipts for repeated reads: bounded inspection, content deduplication, source revalidation, and a 24 KiB receipt limit. Ordinary bounded reads remain available without a worker. Oversized bundles stop before reading later inputs.
• Add read-only previews of selected regression commands. Cross-component renames retain coverage for both source and destination.
• Correct project/global guidance block classification and preserve symlink identity during validation.
• Reduce repeated CI runs to named runtime and platform compatibility cases. For this release's broad scope, unittest executions fall from 1,000 to 367, with complete affected behavior retained in the primary lane. This is a check-count reduction, not a general runtime or token-savings claim.

The four public Skills, authorization modes, Setup CLI, capability selection, and frozen Evidence formats remain compatible. Historical model matrices remain optional research rather than a standing release gate.

Upgrade

Refresh the configured Rootloom marketplace and reinstall the plugin:

If you already use Rootloom's optional global layer, run $setup-rootloom and request an upgrade after refreshing the plugin. Setup preserves installed capabilities and user-owned content outside its managed block and backs up changed managed assets. Open a new Codex task to load the updated Skills and Hooks.

更新插件后，已有全局层用户通过 $setup-rootloom 执行升级；Setup 保留已有能力与用户自定义内容，并备份变更资产。新建 Codex 任务后加载新版。
