Here’s what’s new in this update! 🎉✨

🧩 New Features

  • ✅ First-Come, First-Served Tasks 🏁👦👧
    You can now create a task where “the first child to take it, gets it.”
    If the same task is assigned to multiple children, the first child who either:

    • Starts the task 🟢 (if start-to-claim is enabled), or
    • Completes the task ✅ (if complete-to-claim is enabled)
      will automatically claim the task.

  • 🧑‍💻 Admin Editor: Custom Color Settings 🎨🖌️
    The admin card editor now lets you choose custom colors for specific elements:

    • Start task 🟢
    • Complete task ✅
    • Total points 🏅
    • Task points ⭐

    These updates are applied automatically across all cards 🔄✨.

  • 🚫 Hide Points Completely (Optional) 🙈💯
    You can now disable the points section entirely in the editor. This will hide:

    • Pointshop 🛍️
    • Points earned 🏆
    • Other point-related elements 💰

    The child’s card will show tasks only, without points 📝✅.

  • ✏️ Auto-Assigned Tasks Can Now Be Edited 🔁🛠️
    Previously, if a task was created with auto-assign and included today, it would jump straight into Assigned tasks and disappear from Tasks, making it impossible to edit.

    ✅ This is now fixed — auto-assigned tasks remain editable!

    ⚠️ Important note: Existing tasks created under the old behavior won’t gain editing support automatically. You’ll need to delete them and recreate them 🗑️➡️➕.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • 🛍️ Pointshop Purchase History now shows Date & Time 🕒📅
    Fixed an issue where the purchase history did not display a date or timestamp. It now shows correctly ✅✨.

📊 Improvements

  • 🧾 New “Finished tasks” section in the Admin Card ✅📌
    A new section has been added to provide a clearer visual overview of:

    • What’s assigned 📌
    • What’s finished / ready for approval ✅👀

To ensure everything works correctly, please make sure to update your Card as well 🛠️✨
Many of the new features and improvements in this release will not work properly without the updated Card 🚫🔗.
