Warning

⚠️ This is the LAST standalone card release!

The Lovelace card has been moved into the former “Sync” integration ✅

🔁 The integration previously known as Thermostat Pro Timeline Sync is now called Thermostat Pro Timeline.

🔴 You MUST follow the migration steps below before installing/updating.

📣 What’s changing?

  • 🛑 This repository/card release is the final standalone release

  • 📦 From now on, the card is bundled and managed by the integration

  • 🧩 After setup, the integration will automatically:

    • 📁 Install the card into your www folder
    • 🔗 Add the card to Resources (like HACS) ✅

✅ No functional changes to the card — this is purely to make installs/updates easier for everyone 🚀💙

✅ Mandatory migration steps (do this BEFORE installing/updating)

1) 💾 Backup your card config (CRITICAL!)

  • Create a backup of your card configuration/file 🧾

  • Save it under a different name than the default card filename 🛡️

    • This helps ensure it won’t be overwritten or removed during uninstall

2) 🧹 Remove the old setup completely

  • ❌ Uninstall the card (make sure it’s fully removed from Home Assistant)
  • ❌ Uninstall the integration

3) 📥 Install the new combined integration

  • ✅ Install Thermostat Pro Timeline (previously “Thermostat Pro Timeline Sync”)
  • 🔁 Restart Home Assistant (recommended and important) ✅

4) ⚙️ Set up the integration again

  • Go to Settings → Devices & Services 🧭

  • Add/configure the integration like you did before ✅

  • Once configured, it will automatically:

    • 📁 Install the card into www
    • 🔗 Add it to Resources

5) 🌐 Hard refresh Home Assistant

  • Do a hard refresh in your browser 🔄
  • Chrome shortcut: Ctrl + Alt + R ⌨️

✅ After this, the card should appear exactly like before 👀✨

♻️ Restore your old backup (easy method)

  1. 🆕 Create a new backup right after reinstall
  2. 📂 Open the backup file you saved before uninstalling
  3. 📋 Copy the content
  4. 📌 Paste it into the newly created (likely empty) backup file
  5. 💾 Save

🔁 Home Assistant won’t automatically ask for a restart just because you changed the backup file — but it’s still a good idea to restart anyway ✅ to ensure everything is fully reloaded and applied.

Then you should be able to load your old backup again 🎯💙

🆘 If something looks wrong

  • ✅ Double-check you removed both the old card and old integration
  • ✅ Verify the card exists in www
  • ✅ Verify the resource entry was added
  • 🔄 Do another hard refresh
