Added

• A "Compact note list" setting reduces row spacing and limits previews to one line in the note
  list and the note-list widgets (for
  #15).
• Note-list widgets can show all notes, uncategorized notes, or a single category. Their header now
  shows what is listed in bold with the account name below it (for
  #15).
• Widgets have an appearance step during configuration: background color and opacity, header
  color, note-row color, and an optional frame. It applies to the note-list and single-note
  widgets, and text color adapts to the chosen colors for readability (for
  #15).
• Settings now include an Appearance section for the note list: an optional two-line header with
  the listed category and account name, header color, note background color, and highlighted
  category labels with a configurable color (for
  #15).
• The note list now shows each note as a bordered card with a small gap between notes, similar to
  Nextcloud Notes, and the whole card is the tap target. Turn off "Show notes as cards" in
  Settings → Appearance to return to flat rows (for
  #15).

• The app is now built with Gradle 9.8, Android Gradle Plugin 9.4, Kotlin 2.4, and KSP 2.3, using
  the Android Gradle Plugin's built-in Kotlin support.
• The app is now compiled against Android API 37 so current AndroidX, Compose, and OkHttp releases
  can be used. The target SDK remains API 36.
