• Add experimental Markdown rendering for page annotation popups. It is disabled by default and can be enabled in Settings → Annotation Markdown → Reader Annotations.
• Stabilize popup sizing and positioning so comments appear at their final native position without visible flicker or jumping. Rendered popups use the responsive fast editor when available and fall back completely to Zotero's native behavior when the feature is disabled.

Highlight syntax

• Support ==Highlighted text== and safe optional color suffixes such as ==Risk=={.red}. Available presets are yellow, red, orange, green, blue, purple, and gray.

Outline display

• Show rendered KaTeX formulas directly in floating-outline entries. Hover tooltips preserve the source TeX so complex formulas remain unambiguous.

Floating outline

• Show a compact outline when the selected annotation contains at least two headings.
• Keep the outline fixed beside the annotation sidebar, follow heading hierarchy, highlight the current section, and navigate without scrolling the PDF page.
