This is the first public release of Virtual Painter, a creative application that allows users to paint on a virtual canvas using various tools. The release includes the following features:

  • Basic Drawing Tools: Paint on a canvas using brush and eraser.
  • Brush Resizing: Resize the brush and eraser.
  • Clear Canvas: Canvas can be cleared with a single button.
  • Easy to use: Easy to use UI with a built-in help menu.

Known Issues:

  • Limited colours and drawing tools (future updates will add more features).
  • UI is still in early development and may be subject to change.

Installation:

  • Download and extract the release zip.
  • Install dependencies: opencv-python, tkinter, mediapipe, numpy.
  • Run virtualpainter.py to start the application.

Next Steps:

Future releases will include more drawing tools, UI improvements, and bug fixes.
