v0.1.2 — Digest tools, transcript mode, admin suite hardening

Release focus: AI-digest workflow — fetch/summarize channel activity compactly — plus bug fixes across the admin suite and gateway.

🚀 New features

Compact reads for AI summarization

  • read --transcript — plain-text [HH:MM:SS] author: content output, ~5× smaller than JSON (80% context savings). The recommended format for feeding a channel digest to an LLM.
  • read --since <12h|30d|YYYY-MM-DD> — time-windowed fetch (hours support in the shared parse_since helper). No more manual snowflake math in cronjobs.
  • read --around <msg-id> — fetch limit/2 messages on each side of a message; great for reading context around a key message or decision.

Smarter send

  • send --suppress-embeds — send link messages without embed previews (SUPPRESS_EMBEDS flag) to cut notification noise.
  • send --mention-roles <role-id> — allow-mention specific roles while keeping @everyone/@here off.

Better archive queries

  • search --author <name> and search --since <12h|30d|…> — filter FTS5 hits by author and recency (also added to recent).
  • today — per-channel message counts since local midnight.
  • timeline [--by hour|day] — ASCII activity bar chart over the archive.

Media & profile

  • fetch-links — download images referenced by external URLs in messages (Twitter/X, Pixiv, ArtStation, Imgur… via Discord CDN proxy + og:image fallback), with per-domain politeness delays.
  • userinfo <id> — public profile for the current user (avatar, banner, badges, premium, account age from snowflake).
  • sync --follow [--max-duration N] — after backfill, keep live-persisting gateway messages into SQLite — continuous archiving for digest pipelines.

🐛 Bug fixes

  • userinfo — GET /users/{id} returns 40001 for user tokens on non-self ids → self-resolves via /users/@me with a clear error for others.
  • today — local-midnight cutoff was compared as a naive local string against UTC RFC3339 timestamps (always empty after 00:00 local); now converts to the correct UTC instant.
  • fetch-links — direct image URLs (.png/.webp/…) went through the media.discordapp.net proxy which 401s for cdn.discordapp.com; they now download the asset directly.
  • sync — newest/oldest cursors now computed from both sync phases (fixes incremental gaps).
  • bulk-delete removed — Discord rejects user-token bulk-delete (403 code 20002, bot-only endpoint); single-message delete remains.

🔧 Internals

  • Clippy -D warnings clean; 183 unit tests green (ubuntu + macos CI).
  • 14 peer discord-CLI repos audited (.tmp/) — this release ports the highest-value gaps: --since filters, fetch-links, sync --follow, today/timeline.
