q2 nightly 0.36.0-nightly.20261024 (ab976ef21)

Nightly build of main at ab976ef (version 0.36.0-nightly.20261024). Nightlies are
rebuilt every night main changes and replace the previous one: the nightly
tag moves, and yesterday's assets are gone. For a stable install use a release.

q2 mcp (the Quarto Hub MCP server) needs Node.js 24+ at runtime;
everything else works standalone. Hub connection defaults for quarto-hub.com are built in.

The Linux binaries are statically linked (musl): one build per architecture, no glibc
requirement, works on Alpine and old distros alike. If you specifically need a
dynamically-linked build, install.sh --from-source builds one.

Standalone Quarto Hub MCP server

q2 mcp is also published on its own as a self-contained Node bundle for
running the MCP server without installing q2 — e.g. embedding it in
another tool. Requires Node.js 24+. Download
quarto-hub-mcp-0.36.0-nightly.20261024.tar.gz, extract, and run node index.mjs --help.
Unlike q2 mcp, this bundle does not embed quarto-hub.com credentials — see
the bundled README.md for the OAuth env vars to set.
(Experimental, temporary channel — npx distribution is planned.)

Hub client WASM package (Connect satellite builds)

quarto-hub-client-wasm-0.36.0-nightly.20261024.tar.gz carries the compiled
crates/wasm-quarto-hub-client/pkg/ tree (wasm-bindgen web target,
wasm-opt -Oz) — the render engine the Quarto Hub editor loads.
Extract it at the root of a q2 checkout of this tag
(tar -xzf quarto-hub-client-wasm-0.36.0-nightly.20261024.tar.gz -C /path/to/q2);
Connect satellite builds (build-editor.sh) consume it that way.
Most users do not need this asset.
